Converse has partnered up with electro sensation M83 to create a limited edition Chuck Taylor All Star to be sold exclusively at www.converse.com. Not only are these two teaming up for the promotion of their product, M83 and Converse are launching a contest in which fans are encouraged to submit original artwork using the M83 Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming album and the songs as inspiration. Contestants must submit an original work of art which include; drawings, paintings and photography and a sent jpg file that is 2MB or less. In addition to the file contestants are required to submit a title and a few sentences to explain your work. Up to three winners will be selected, and their artwork will be chosen to feature on original M83 posters to be sold at Central Park SummerStage in NYC on August 8, 2012. Winners will also receive the limited edition customized M83 sneaker. Entries will be accepted until July 31, 2012. Winners will be announced on August 4.
