It has officially been announced June 9th will be the release of the much anticipated Platinum and Black/Solar Reds Nike Air Yeezy2. These sneakers are the second shoe in the iconic Kanye West’s signature line from Nike, and will be found in select retailers in limited numbers. Images have been seen of the shoes, but until recently none have been defined enough to see the detail of the design. The Black/Solar Reds have a predominantly black color with a glow-in-the-dark outsole, and solar red lining. You will see a ribbed heel that transitions into what looks to be a black snakeskin print, and a black Velcro strap keeping constant with the original Yeezys. While the platinum’s; predominantly white, carry references to ancient civilization. With detail and history in the form of hieroglyphics on the loop strap, and leather lace toggle carries the Roman numeral ‘II’. The Yeezy2’s are said to be going for about 275 dollars and have fans and Nike lovers ready for the front of the lines and at the edge of their seats.
